1 -) Which wastes does Ambitrena receives? Basically the Ambitrena’ Waste Recovery Industrial Units are licensed to receive almost all types of waste. Examples include generic industrial waste (RIB), Hazardous Waste (RIP), packaging waste (paper and cardboard, plastic, glass, wood, etc), Ferrous Metals, Non-Ferrous Metals; End of Life Vehicles (ELV); Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Construction and Demolition waste (RCD), used tires, etc. 2 -) Who should I contact for prices?Ambitrena has a Technical/Sales department with more than a dozen elements always available to answer any questions about the operation of the business and on operational processes, management systems and waste collection from the customer. Call and ask for clarification to one of our technicians who will surely be glad to make a proposal for tailored waste management to fit your needs. 4 -) What type of service offers Ambitrena?Ambitrena – Valorização e Gestão de Resíduos (Recovery and Waste Management), SA is an operator who was born in a group with an experience of more than 30 years in environmental management. Currently, strategically placed north and south of Portugal, the company ensures a balanced management of waste as the existing legislation and under rigorous environmental rules. Ambitrena makes it available to its Clients, waste collect and transport resources to their Industrial Units, where it makes th proper management, treatment, energy recovery or referral to final destination, as each stream of waste. About ELV: 1 -) I do not have the vehicle anymore but the registration of ownership and vehicle ID are still active. What should I do? The VALORCAR Network centers, in which Ambitrena takes part, can only issue the certificate of destruction for vehicles that actually receive. Therefore, you should contact the Institute for Mobility and Land Transport. 2 -) My vehicle no longer circulates, how can I deliver it to one of the Ambitrena’ units?Legally the owner/keeper is responsible for the costs of transporting the vehicle to the center. However, in many cases (depending on the vehicle and the place where it is), Ambitrena does this transportation for free. This situation should be agreed with the center to where you decide to route the vehicle. 3 -) The process of delivery of the vehicle in one of the Ambitrena’ units has costs?In Ambitrena the whole process of receiptance of the vehicle, recycling and administrative processing of documents is entirely free. However, in accordance with applicable law, Ambitrena may charge for receiving a vehicle that no longer contains the motor engine, transmission shafts, the gearbox, the catalyst, the electronic control units or the body. 4 -) After you return the vehicle in Ambitrena how long it takes to receive the certificate of destruction?If the documentation submitted is complete, the Ambitrena issues and deliver the original certificate of destruction in time. 5 -) After delivering the vehicle and receive a certificate of destruction have to do anything else?No, the process is completed and the certificate of destruction is proof that you don’t have more responsibilities. It is Ambitrena that sends all documentation to the Institute for Mobility and Land Transport to proceed with the cancellation of registration and registration of property.
