With a know-how acquired over more than two decades, Recifemetal is today required in Portugal for the execution of high risk and high technical requirement works and is known in Spain for the quality and competence of their services on dismantling.

It’s history, which marked the genesis of Ambigroup, dates back to 70’s, when it started the business, then with a different name, in the collecting, sorting and recycling of scrap metal.  The process of management of scrap metal is so whether the course of dismantling works, either through the collection and/or receiving from clients.

Currently, Recifemetal is one of the companies in the industry most technologically advanced, with volumes of business that ranks among the top 200 SMEs in the country in 2006 and among the thousand largest companies in Portugal in 2007 (data published in the supplement of the Daily News – Jornal de Notícias - Nov. 2008).

A Recifemetal foi a empresa seleccionada para efectuar as operações de desmantelamento, remoção, transporte e entrega em destino final adequado (valorização) de um conjunto de equipamentos nas instalações da Lisgráfica em Queluz.

Terminaram recentemente as operações de desmantelamento da Estação de Paint Stipping na Autoeuropa levadas a cabo pela Recifemetal. Na gestão dos resíduos provenientes dos trabalhos de desmantelamentos foram respeitadas as normas ambientais em vigor, no que se refere ao manuseamento, acondicionamento, armazenamento temporário e transporte dos materiais a destino final adequado.
