Thermoelectric Power Plants2019

Dismantling of Equipment and Demolition of Buildings/Structures of the Carregado Thermoelectric Power Plant

The Carregado Thermoelectric Power Plant was located on the right bank of the Tagus River, in Vala do Carregado, and used the river's waters for its cooling system. It had 6 generator sets of 125 MW each, it was built between 1968 and 1976 as a conventional fuel plant. In 1997, groups 5 and 6 were reconverted so that they could use natural gas or fuel.

In 2019, Ambigroup began its dismantling. Given the complexity and specificity of the work, execution methodologies were implemented that took into account Safety, environmental protection and satisfaction of legal and client requirements.
