Dismantling of Wind Turbine at the São Cristóvão I Wind Farm, in Bigorne – Lamego

Following a fire in October 2013, one of the wind turbines at the São Cristóvão I Wind Farm was structurally compromised and had restricted access.

As the client’s objective was the complete removal of the turbine for technical studies and inspections, it was necessary to mobilize large-scale equipment, namely mobile cranes and crawler cranes with capacities between 200 and 750 tonnes, carrying out the work at heights exceeding 60 meters.
