Removal and transport of waste resulting from the dismantling of 10 wind turbines at the Vergão Wind Farm - Proença-a-Nova

The Vergão Wind Farm is located in the Serra do Vergão at an approximate altitude of 620 meters, near the villages of Vergão, Cimadas, Maljoga, and Isna de S. Carlos, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova.

It was the first wind energy project of the GENERG Group, with an installed capacity of 13 MW generated by 10 turbines of 1.3 MW each. In 2018, it underwent a repowering project, with the old turbines replaced by 5 turbines with an installed capacity of 2.4 MW.

In this project, we were responsible for the cutting, preparation, transport, and management of the waste resulting from the dismantling of the 10 decommissioned turbines.
