Ambigroup analyzes challenges and needs of the national recycling industry

With the expected increase in the collection of different materials, it is necessary to consider the country's industrial capacity in terms of recovery. It is, therefore, important to reflect on what conditions are necessary to guarantee so that the recycling industry can respond to the expected increase in material.

The topic will be under analysis at the Reciclagem&Valorização Conference, on June 28th, in Santa Maria da Feira, in Panel I, under the motto 'The Challenges and Needs of the Recycling Industry', where Ricardo Diogo, Administrator of Ambigroup, will participate, one of the largest national recycling companies, which includes units providing waste management, treatment, recycling and recovery services.

During the panel, which opens the initiative, topics such as the “sizing of the industrial recycling park in Portugal, mechanisms for its financing and also some topics related to ways of optimizing the recycling process” will be addressed.

The Reciclagem&Valorização Conference, organized by Água&Ambiente Newspaper, will delve deeper into the issues and challenges that concern the sector and debate solutions to unresolved problems, also deepening relationships between actors, namely between management entities and recyclers and between municipalities and recyclers.
